Sr. Director, Global Content & Product Operations

This role leads Global Content & Product Operations to power our digital production engines for the global e-commerce business. You will oversee high-volume operational teams responsible for product data and customer-facing assets from inception to live-on-site globally, including Content Operations, Product Content Onboarding, and Translation/Localization. You will partner with the Revenue Office to translate commercial strategies, market expansions, and country-specific growth initiatives into seamless operational execution. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker focused on operational efficiency and AI-enabled workflows, driving the transition from manual processes to automated, AI-assisted pipelines. Responsibilities Operational Efficiency & Workflow Scaling – Oversee and scale day-to-day operations for Content Operations, Product Content Onboarding, and Translation/Localization. Standardize and optimize end-to-end workflows, establish clear SLAs, and reduce time to publish product content and listings globally. Build data-driven dashboards to track KPIs such as queue velocity, publishing accuracy, team capacity, and unit cost per asset. AI Enablement & Process Modernization – Identify, pilot, and deploy AI-enabled workflows and automated tools to modernize production (e.g., AI-assisted product copy, translation memory, and asset tagging). Modernize the tech stack by partnering with Product and Technology to optimize CMS, PIM, and TMS integrations. Define and execute a roadmap for AI-assisted, human-in-the-loop models to maximize productivity. Cross-Functional Pipeline Governance – Establish scalable operating rhythms and prioritization for incoming content and listing requests from Merchandising, Marketing, and other teams. Serve as the central operational bridge between commercial goals and technical roadmaps. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Scale-Up DNA : Proven track record managing high-volume, digital production pipelines (content publishing, catalog onboarding, translation). AI & Automation : Experience identifying, testing, and deploying AI-enabled tools and automation in production environments. Systems Thinking : Demonstrated ability to turn messy, human-dependent processes into streamlined, tool-driven workflows. Preferred Experience : Administering or optimizing enterprise CMS, PIM, or TMS platforms is a plus. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile or related process improvements are advantageous. Experience & Education Typically 12+ years in Business Operations, Commercial Operations, Ecommerce Operations, Operational Strategy, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Technology, Engineering, or related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Certifications or demonstrated experience in process improvement, operational transformation, AI/automation, or workflow optimization is a plus. Judgment & Physical Requirements Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems quickly with sound judgment, poise, and diplomacy. Ability to escalate as needed in a timely manner. Some extended hours may be required. Compensation The expected salary range for this role is $260,000.00 - $285,000.00 USD.
