Tax Associate

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing industrial supplier supporting infrastructure projects across North America. We\'re looking for a Tax Associate to own tax compliance, reporting, audits, and process improvement in a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO. High-impact, standalone tax position with direct exposure to executive leadership Opportunity to build processes and grow into future leadership as the company continues to expand Hybrid schedule after training (2 days remote / 3 days in office) Collaborative, team-oriented culture where employees are encouraged to contribute beyond their core responsibilities Stable, growing company with $30M-$40M in revenue and acquisition plans What you\'ll be doing: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings Manage sales & use, property, income, and transaction tax compliance Coordinate tax audits and respond to taxing authorities Maintain tax reconciliations, exemption certificates, and business registrations Research tax legislation, identify tax savings opportunities, and improve tax processes Partner with Finance, HR, and external tax advisors on compliance initiatives What we\'re looking for: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of progressive tax experience Experience with income, sales & use, property, and transaction taxes ERP experience (beyond QuickBooks); Avalara experience is a plus Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Career-driven professional who enjoys taking ownership and improving processes #J-18808-Ljbffr Tarvos Talent
