What You Will Do:

• Manage the procurement team and establish effective performance measures and metrics.
• Ensure that team members maintain the appropriate knowledge to issue purchase orders in compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements, manage suppliers effectively, produce accurate metrics, and perform assigned purchasing tasks.
• Provide on the job training, coaching, and support to address skill and knowledge gaps.
• Support team members as they work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to clarify, define, and refine scopes of supply, purchasing requirements, and statements of work necessary for successful procurement activities.
• Oversee compliance with all procurement processes and ensure that all required approvals are obtained prior to the release of purchase orders.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to resolve conflicts and mitigate risks associated with terms and conditions that deviate from standard company purchase order terms. Additionally, support supplier engagement activities including negotiations, supplier performance management, and recovery efforts with critical suppliers when necessary.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
