Southern Colorado Emergency Medical Associates (SCEMA) is one of the few democratic groups located along the Front Range of Colorado. SCEMA holds anAAEM Certificate of Workplace Fairnessand is an AAEM Physician Group member. We started in 1979 and have enjoyed a longstanding relationship of 47 years with Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado. We staff the Emergency Departments at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center and UCHealth Parkview Pueblo West Hospital. Parkview Medical Center is a trauma center, community-based hospital and regional referral center serving a large area of Southern Colorado. Parkview Pueblo West Hospital is a smaller, expanding hospital located nearby in Pueblo West, Colorado. As a part of the UCHealth system you have access to Epic EMR, extensive specialty consultation support, and the benefits that a well-resourced health system provides. Pueblo, Colorado is located along the beautiful Rocky Mountain Front Range about 40 miles south of Colorado Springs, which was ranked as the 3rd best place to live in the country by the 2024-2025 US News and World Report. As a part of SCEMA you can live in a very desirable location close to world class hiking, mountain biking, skiing and rafting. Benefits
- Competitive hourly pre-partnership compensation at a rate of $200/hour
- Exceptional productivity-based partner compensation
- Traditional 401(k) retirement plan available at 12 months from hire plus a SCEMA funded Cash Balance Plan available upon partnership
- Benefits include health insurance, malpractice insurance, CME, compensation for licensing examinations and travel, medical and DEA licensing fees, relocation expenses coverage, night shift differential with dedicated nocturnist group, and holiday pay
- Short partnership track of only 2 years or 3,000 hours (whichever first)
- Part time positions available with time spent eligible to count towards partnership track
- Average of 13-14 shifts/month
- 8-10 hour shifts split between the two locations
