Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring safe and effective engagement with clients. While some duties may be conducted from the comfort of your home, collaboration with team members will often take place through virtual meetings, ensuring that all therapists remain connected and supported. Our outpatient office in Glendale serves as a centralized hub for client interactions when in-person meetings are required. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., promoting work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs by evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans by collaborating closely with clients to align with their individual goals, preferences, and overall life circumstances.

• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address client challenges.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and practical self-care strategies tailored to their specific situations.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and responsiveness to client needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals for integrated care, maintaining a comprehensive approach to mental health treatment.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic strategies and interventions.

• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines to safeguard client information.

• Engage in ne ongoing professional development through participation in case consultations, team meetings, and training opportunities to refine therapeutic skills.

Your primary focus will be on adults and families navigating complex emotional landscapes, including pre- and post-divorce counseling, relationship issues, mood disorders, and family dynamics. You will engage with clients experiencing a spectrum of challenges, ensuring that your therapeutic approach evolves to meet their distinctive circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
