Accounting Manager

Job Description LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager for a reputable client in Michigan. The role will work closely with the Director of Finance and will be responsible for managing day to day accounting functions and overseeing accounting staff for the company. Responsibilities: Manage and lead the accounting team Maintain the chart of accounts Assist Director of Finance in issuance of timely financial statements Preparation of monthly financial and operations management reporting Annual planning and cash flow forecasting process Lead the annual budgeting process Gather and analyze data in order to make financial or business recommendations Research and communicate results with management Ad hoc projects and analytic reporting requests Education/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA strongly preferred Experience coming from public accounting, service, or other professional practices 4+ years of experience in accounting Large ERP systems knowledge Advanced Excel Strong attention to detail and extremely organized Demonstrated prior success supervising staff Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization Proficient verbal and written communication skills If you are interested in this Accounting Manager job, or other accounting and finance opportunities, please forward resume to View email address on click.appcast.io.
