Role Expectations

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and curate tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to improve patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and appropriate home exercises
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for evaluations, treatments, and progress as per facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to facilitate coordinated patient care

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, orthopedic) are advantageous but not mandatory
