Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.Production Planner/Scheduler Job Purpose:Oversees and processes all requirements on any customer order from the sales order received through shipping the completed order to the customer.Nature of Duties:Fast pace production environment. Must be able to effectively multitask and be self motivated to get the tasks completed in the most efficient manner possible.Develops specifications for new contract ordersIdentifies material constraints on any new order received from customersPlans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.Creates and maintains a material status that effectively communicates the material position and production plan for any customer order in the MRP system.Releases discrete jobs to the manufacturing floor according to the production plan in which the material supports.Works all material issues due to attrition and other unforeseen issues that may impact the planned production kit releases.Ensures that material is processed in the MRP system in a timely fashion in order for the customer orders to be shipped and invoiced seamlessly.Must have good Customer Service SkillsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree and5 years experience as a Production Planner or Materials Planner; preferably in the contract manufacturing fieldSanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer
