Seeking a skilled Electrician Craftsman 2 for night-shift openings in Dallas, TX. Seeking a skilled Electrician Craftsman 2 for night-shift openings in Dallas, TX. This is a mid-level, hands-on role for a self-reliant electrician who can perform installation, troubleshooting, and inspections with limited supervision. This is a per diem position. You must have at least 4 years of electrical experience, be comfortable working nights, read and follow technical drawings, and be ready to work across commercial and residential systems.
What You'll Do
- Install and service commercial and residential electrical systems, including lighting, panel work, and branch circuits
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete work per spec
- Troubleshoot electrical systems - diagnose faults, test circuits, measure amps, and restore service safely
- Select, size and install overcurrent protection devices (breakers, fuses) and verify correct settings
- Perform quality inspections of completed work and correct deficiencies to meet code and safety standards
- Keep accurate job records, report issues to supervisors, and maintain tools and PPE
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4+ years hands-on electrical experience (commercial and residential work preferred)
- Available to work night shifts consistently and reliably
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Proficient troubleshooting skills (safety, amp readings, wear-and-tear diagnosis)
- Experience with lighting installation and system troubleshooting
- Knowledge of selection and installation of overcurrent devices and basic inspection practices
Qualifications
- Documented 4+ years of electrical experience
- Journeyman electrician card or equivalent preferred
- NFPA 70E and electrical safety training preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- English proficiency for clear jobsite communication
