Registered Respiratory Therapist, Full-Time/ Overnight

Overview Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned. Position Details Mercy Hospital St.Louis (615 S New Ballas Rd, SaintLouis,MO63141) Department: Respiratory Shift: 7 pm–7 am, 3–12‑hour shifts. Eligible for shift differentials. Sign‑on bonus: up to $10,000 Qualifications Graduate of a COARC‑approved Respiratory Care program. Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state. Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For personnel working in the Emergency Room, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required. Physical demands: able to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Preferred Education and Experience Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Preferred critical‑care experience. Why Mercy?
