It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.***ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include, but are not limited to, the following:* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance in assigned area.* Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the facility.* Perform repairs and equipment installation/removal in an efficient manner.* Maintain good housekeeping at workstations and work areas.* Respond to plant emergencies including Haz-Mat incidents, equipment malfunction, fires, severe weather, etc. as directed by supervision.* Lock out / tag out certification.* Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned work orders/requests and checklists.* Special projects/duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor or manager.**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**This position will not have supervisory responsibility.**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*** **Required** + High school diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of experience in machine maintenance, building maintenance, preventative maintenance, carpentry, electrical, heating and cooling systems, plumbing and/or electrical + Basic welding experience + Able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics + Have or obtain tools needed to perform the above tasks + Operational knowledge of common hand, power, and industrial tools + Valid Driver’s License* **Preferred** + Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics*George’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
