Our work depends on Customer Service Specialist II joining our team to provide support via the telephone and/or Internet to resolve routine issues and respond to customer inquiries. You will be answering inbound phone calls from Medicaid Providers for billing or enrollment. These calls are not scripted; there is knowledge to be learned to understand and help the providers with their Medicaid claims. HOW A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT * Takes and processes transactions by telephone, internet and correspondence from customers and representatives * Enters and maintains database records of customer profiles and prepares and maintains status reports * Acts as liaison for customers * Maintains knowledge of company products and customer service processes WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: * Required Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience * Required Technical Skills: * Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Required Skills and Abilities: * Strong telephone and verbal communication skills * Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types * Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively * Location: Hybrid and on-site at 22 Corporate Woods, Albany NY The likely hourly rate for this position is between $18.70 - $25.30. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
