About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Technical Support Engineer (m/w/d) for TwinCAT HMI to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a product expert for our automation software TwinCAT, with a particular focus on Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and resolve complex customer inquiries related to our software products, providing practical support both remotely and on‑site to ensure optimal system performance. You will collaborate closely with product management and development teams to clarify technical questions and develop tailored solutions that enable smooth and efficient system commissioning at customer sites. Qualifications Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or a related field. Alternatively, successfully completed vocational training as a state‑certified technician (m/w/d) in electrical engineering with several years of industrial experience. Solid knowledge of automation technology and PC‑based control systems. Familiarity with Beckhoff’s TwinCAT automation software or PLC programming (highly desirable). Experience in developing HMI projects (advantageous). Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly and structuredly. Strong customer service orientation, even under stress. Fluency in German (minimum C2 level) and good English skills (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken. Responsibilities Handle product inquiries related to deployment and functionality, acting as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders. Analyze specific customer requests concerning TwinCAT automation software, providing expert guidance on HMI, Eventlogger, and PLC topics. Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues through remote diagnostics and on‑site support, ensuring rapid and seamless system integration. Collaborate with product management and development teams to clarify technical questions and contribute to continuous product improvement. Develop and document solutions, create technical reports, and participate in knowledge‑sharing activities to enhance team expertise. Directly impact customer satisfaction and the efficiency of automation system deployment.
