Pathologist Assistant

Scientific Recruiter | ClinLab Solutions Group Location: Gaithersburg, MD Position Summary ASCP-certified Pathologists’ Assistant to support both human pathology cases (including autopsy consultations and clinical trials) and preclinical animal studies conducted under GLP and non-GLP conditions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and track pathology cases from receipt through completion Perform gross tissue dissection for human and animal specimens Conduct X-ray imaging and digital photography of specimens Organize and coordinate laboratory workflows to support pathologists Prepare preliminary pathology reports and documentation for analysis Ensure compliance with GLP, CAP, and SOP requirements Qualifications Completion of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program or MS degree in the biological sciences with demonstrated experience in gross tissue analysis ASCP certification preferred Proven hands‑on laboratory experience Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software systems Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Science Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at ClinLab Solutions Group by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
