Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$3427.20/week –

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring timely and effective interventions during acute medical situations. Takes a leadership role in coordinating patient care and supervising nursing staff to maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival to prioritize care based on acuity and medical needs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions following established protocols and standards of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Maintain ACLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Have previous experience in acute care or emergency room nursing preferred.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
