Role Description We are seeking an Order Entry Supervisor to oversee daily order entry operations and support accurate, timely prescription processing. This role supervises the order entry team, coordinates workflow, and works closely with pharmacists and facility staff to resolve discrepancies and prioritize urgent orders. Long-term care pharmacy experience and experience using Framework are REQUIRED. Responsibilities Supervise daily order entry operations, assign tasks, and monitor workflow to meet processing deadlines. Train and support order entry technicians, reinforce established procedures, and provide feedback on accuracy and productivity. Accurately enter and review patient information and medication orders in Framework. Process new and refill prescriptions, verify eligibility, and proofread orders for accuracy and completeness. Verify patient and prescriber information and resolve missing or conflicting details in coordination with pharmacists. Answer incoming phone calls and assist facility staff with prescription processing questions. Collaborate with pharmacists and other departments to resolve issues and maintain an efficient workflow. Prioritize urgent orders and coordinate coverage during busy periods. Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to pharmacy procedures, confidentiality requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Required Qualifications Long-term care pharmacy experience is required. Experience using Framework pharmacy software is required. Strong knowledge of pharmacy order entry processes, terminology, and prescription formats. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when entering and reviewing prescription information. Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to work professionally with pharmacists, healthcare providers, facility staff, and team members. Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
