Industrial Forklift Loader, Flatbed Operations About OEG Building Materials

At OEG Building Materials, we keep projects moving by getting heavy product where it needs to go—safely and on time. We’re hiring an experienced forklift professional to support our PM–AM shift and keep flatbeds turning at the dock.

A Day in the Role

As dusk gives way to dawn, you’re the calm at the center of a busy yard. You inspect your Hi-Lo, scan picking tickets, and position your forks for long steel and other building products. You coordinate with shipping and receiving, stage orders, and load flatbeds with precision. Between loads, you reorganize stock and help the team hit timelines without ever compromising safety.

What You’ll Do

• Operate forklifts/Hi-Lo equipment with care and control
• Load and unload flatbed trucks with large steel and building materials
• Stage, move, and organize inventory across the warehouse and yard
• Support shipping, receiving, and order picking as needed
• Apply OSHA and company safety practices on every task
• Perform routine inspections on forklifts before and after use

What You Bring

• Hands-on forklift and loader experience (required)
• Background handling large/heavy loads and long materials (preferred)
• Ability to lift and thrive in a fast-moving warehouse environment
• Working knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
