Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Float Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Middletown CT 06457. This is a 3+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Location: Middletown CT 06457 Duration: 3+ months + Contract (Possibilities of extension) Shift: 6 am to 6 pm Monday – Friday & every other Saturdays Pay rate: $19 – 22 $/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications. Mileage reimbursement will be provided from the work location to float locations. Responsibilities Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources. Required Education High school diploma or equivalent. Pediatrics Phlebotomy experienced preferred. Minimum of 5 Years of phlebotomy experience required.
