Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Our Robert Half client is a growing, publicly traded company seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. This role offers exposure to corporate and business unit leaders, varied accounting and reporting work, and a culture that supports career development based on merit and contribution.

You will help prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings, including financial statements and footnote disclosures. Working with finance teams across the business, you will review account reconciliations, support the close, research technical accounting matters, and help maintain accurate reporting under U.S. GAAP. You will also partner with auditors and contribute to improvements in reporting processes and internal controls.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and review support for Forms 10-Q and 10-K, financial statements, and disclosures.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and collaborate with finance teams to resolve reporting matters.
• Support lease accounting, capital expenditure reporting, and selected operational reporting.
• Review inventory costing and reserve analyses for consistency and accuracy.
• Research accounting questions, assist with internal controls, and respond to audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting tools and workflows.

What you’ll bring

• A degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of relevant accounting, financial reporting, or public accounting experience.
• Knowledge of the close process, U.S. GAAP, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Strong Excel, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• SEC reporting, technical accounting, ERP, consolidation, or reporting software experience preferred.
• CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
