Sample Medical Center is a well-established healthcare provider dedicated to offering exceptional patient care. We are seeking an experienced and professional Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, providing a warm and welcoming environment for patients, and supporting medical staff with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient inquiries.
• Verify patient information and insurance details, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Perform check-in/check-out procedures, including processing payments and co-pays.
• Manage patient flow and prepare patient charts and necessary paperwork before appointments.
• Assist with patient intake, collecting medical histories, and entering information into the system.
• Coordinate with physicians and medical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and mailing documents.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR eClinical Works) and other office management software.
• Provide support to other departments and staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years working as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role.
• Skills: Proficient in office management software, EHR (eClinical works PREFFERED) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and patient interactions.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and billing procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (SPANISH Speaking preferred).
• minimum 2 years work place longevity

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in medical office administration or related field (preferred but not required)
