About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Operations to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the company's manufacturing strategy in line with business objectives and growth plans. This role requires a strategic executive with a hands-on approach, particularly in a complex, high-volume production environment. Key responsibilities include providing executive leadership for all manufacturing operations, leading continuous improvement initiatives, driving operational excellence, and ensuring world-class performance in safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and cost. The SVP will also be instrumental in building and developing high-performing operations leaders and will participate in strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives. Applicants for the Senior Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility. A deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement methodologies, Six Sigma, and operational KPIs is essential, as is a strong background in FDA-regulated food manufacturing, particularly with shelf-stable food and commercial thermal processing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving safety, quality, productivity, customer service, and financial performance, and must be well-versed in HACCP, FSMA, GMPs, SQF or BRC, OSHA, and food manufacturing regulatory requirements. The role demands a leader who can influence executive stakeholders, drive organizational change, and is passionate about developing people and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
