We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager to join our sales team. This hybrid role blends new business development with strategic account management, making it ideal for a consultative professional who thrives on building long-term client relationships and solving real-world business challenges through technology. You will serve as a trusted advisor to both prospects and existing clients, helping them align their technology investments with their business goals.# ## Key Responsibilities**Business Development*** Actively prospect for new business through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and marketing campaigns* Schedule and conduct First-Time Appointments (FTAs) in collaboration with the Director of Sales* Identify client pain points and align their needs with ProTech's managed IT, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions* Conduct discovery meetings and develop long-term technology roadmaps for prospective clients* Represent ProTech at local events, trade shows, and industry forums to build brand presence and pipeline**Account Management*** Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned book of accounts* Lead quarterly business reviews and guide clients through long-term IT planning and strategy* Manage renewals for hardware, software, licensing, and service contracts* Act as the liaison between clients and ProTech's technical services team to ensure seamless delivery* Handle client escalations professionally, driving timely resolution and maintaining high satisfaction* Develop assigned accounts to identify expansion and upsell opportunities aligned with client growth**Internal Collaboration*** Maintain accurate CRM records including pipeline updates, activity logs, and forecast data* Partner with vendors and distribution contacts to prepare competitive solution proposals and quotes* Collaborate with the sales team within a POD structure, supporting shared goals and peer development* Participate in new client onboarding and kickoff meetings to ensure a strong start to each engagement* Stay current on ProTech's service portfolio, emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings## What We're Looking For* 2+ years of experience in account management, business development, or outside sales — preferably in IT, MSP, or B2B technology services* Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and close new business in a consultative sales environment* Comfortable engaging and presenting to C-level executives and business decision-makers* Working knowledge of IT concepts including managed services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity (training provided)* Proficiency with CRM platforms and quoting tools; experience with Microsoft 365 a plus* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences* Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operate with minimal supervision* Collaborative team player with a client-first mindset and a commitment to professional integrity* Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered## ## Compensation & Benefits* Competitive base salary starting at $70,000 commensurate with experience* Uncapped commission structure with significant earning potential* Comprehensive healthcare benefits* Retirement plan with employer match* Ongoing professional development and vendor training opportunities* Collaborative, team-oriented culture with room for growthProTech IT Solutions, a New Charter Technologies Company, was founded in 2012 by Johnson Abraham.
