Salary: $85,000 Base Salary + Strong Commission Structure + Car Allowance + Health Insurance + Benefits

Our client, a prominent player in the ground transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join their team in Chicago. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive new business and expand market presence in the OTR (Over-The-Road) freight sector within the 3PL industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in ground transportation OTR freight services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers in the logistics and transportation industry.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor logistics solutions that meet client needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales within the ground transportation and 3PL industry, with expertise in OTR freight services.
- Strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations, including freight management and supply chain solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals.
