Qualifications: Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy Active state-level licensure or be a Registered Intern, as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or registered intern (RMCHI), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or clinical social work intern (RCSWI) Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents preferred but not required Why You'll Love It Here: Supportive Clinical Leadership - You'll never feel like you're in this alone Ongoing Professional Growth - Because learning should never stop Exclusive Resources - Think of it as your VIP toolkit for success Competitive Salary + Benefits - Perks you'll love Flexible Pay Options - Because budgeting shouldn't be stressful Professional Development & Continuing Ed - Keep growing your skills An Inspiring & Collaborative Team - Work with people who get you What You'll Do: Apply evidenced-based mental health counseling methods and techniques Utilize DSM and mental health counseling principles, procedures, and standards Work independently to develop collaborative relationships with parents, teachers, school administration, families, students, interdisciplinary team and other community agencies Complete biopsychosocial assessments to obtain information pertaining to medical history or other pertinent information Administer trauma-informed screening and assessment tools, such as the CFARS and ACE Questionnaire Provide individual and group counseling and classroom support (when appropriate) with students to focus on emotional or behavioral goals that promote enhanced school functioning, with signed parental consent Administer therapeutic interventions like: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Seeking Safety in individual, family, and group settings Support campus counselors and administrators to conduct crisis risk assessments, de-escalate students, and provide recommendations for community/family support, as appropriate Provides consultation to parents and family members regarding progress and concerns for students Develops concrete, specific individualized treatment plans with goals, objectives and discharge criteria to address student and family needs Assures clinical documentation is completed according to company policy and procedures This position is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about making a significant impact on students' lives and building a rewarding career in school-based social work.
