Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator / Shop Assistant Position Type: Full-Time (M-F, 8am-4pm) | Entry-Level Location: Mukilteo, WA Compensation: $20 - $25 /hour + Overtime Potential About Us American Rifle Company designs and manufactures high-precision firearms components. Primary Responsibilities CNC Operation: Safely load, unload, and cycle CNC machinery Quality Assurance: Perform visual inspections and measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools Parts Processing: Clean, deburr, count, and package components Shop Maintenance: Assist with basic machine upkeep (topping off coolant/oil reservoirs, clearing chips/material waste, maintaining a clean workspace) Final Assembly: Pack finished goods accurately and prepare them for shipment Qualifications & Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs regularly Strong mechanical aptitude, focus, and willingness to learn (prior shop experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right person) Sharp attention to detail and commitment to safety standards High school diploma or equivalent preferred Because precision manufacturing requires high focus and uncompromising safety, we operate a distraction-free shop floor (personal mobile devices are restricted during active shifts). Candidates must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screening prior to employment.
