Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week OR assignment requiring a CA state license.

Job Details

• Day shift position with variable start times (6:30 AM, 8:30 AM, or 11:00 AM), running 8-hour shifts,
• OR setting with 10 rooms available,
• Separate weekend shifts are part of the schedule,
• Floating is required to SPD and Endoscopy departments,
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Tech experience required,
• Active CA state license required at time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted - license required if applicable,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting,
• SSN and DOB required for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers with 2 or more years of experience will be considered; first-time travelers with less than 2 years of experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis,
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment,
• All RTO requests must be disclosed prior to submission; requests made after submission or offer may be denied,
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
