Sales Representative – NW Indiana (2505428) D.R. Horton, Inc. seeks a Sales Representative to manage the sales process, source new customers, and provide excellent customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Effectively communicate D.R. Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers. Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges, establishing D.R. Horton as the best solution available. Overcome objections and close sales. Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction. Continually source new sales opportunities. Create and provide a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships. Network and perform outreach to realtors. Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and work effectively with other team members. Maintain and expand database of prospects. Attend sales meetings. Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members. Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase goodwill and profitability. Qualifications Education: Associate’s Degree or 2 years related experience. Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during day or night. Ability to use D.R. Horton Sales applications on smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or application form. Proficiency with MS Office and email. Physical requirements: stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel, bend, walk up and down stairs; use hands; lift up to 25 pounds; meet vision, weather, and noise level criteria. Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications Licensing requirements vary by state. Prior CRM software experience.
