Internal Audit/SOX- Experienced Associate

Overview As an Internal Audit / SOX‑Experienced Associate, you will engage in independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls, enhancing the credibility and reliability of information for a variety of stakeholders. You will support the Risk Consulting practice by building, optimizing, and delivering comprehensive internal audit services across diverse industries. Responsibilities Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls and compliance with regulations Collaborate with team members to deliver end‑to‑end internal audit services across various industries Utilize auditing methodologies and AI platforms to enhance audit processes and outcomes Analyze financial statements and internal controls to identify areas for improvement Apply GAAS and GAAP in audit engagements Conduct data analysis and interpretation to support audit findings and recommendations Support the development and transformation of internal audit functions for clients Participate in risk analysis and management to address potential issues and enhance governance Assist in the preparation and review of audit reports and documentation Build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer and Information Science, Finance, or related fields At least 1 year of experience in audit, accounting, or related areas Must meet educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state or for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) What Sets You Apart Current pursuit of or active CPA, CIA, or CISA license Proficiency in auditing methodologies and compliance auditing Strong data analysis and interpretation skills for internal audits Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS Experience in business process improvement and operational risk management IT audit and IT controls knowledge Excellent stakeholder management and communication in diverse teams Travel Requirements Up to 60% travel may be required. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000, based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
