Details Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 Weekday scheduled shifts run 10 hours with additional weekday night call shifts of 8 hours (2300-0700) Weekend scheduled and call shifts run 10-12 hours Up to 6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts required per 6-week schedule Maintains a 1:1 patient ratio Uses Epic charting system May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital approximately 15 minutes away Requirements Active OR RN license required (Oregon RN license pending accepted, Oregon CNA license must be in hand) BLS certification required ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required Epic charting experience required Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred 1:1 patient ratio experience required Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Travelers are prioritized to float to the nearby affiliate hospital and refusing to float may result in contract cancellation Former permanent employees of the health system may not apply for travel positions within six months of their termination date RTO must be finalized at the time of submission and additional requests afterward may affect consideration or contract status Block scheduling is not accommodated Robust OR RN experience at a Level I or II trauma hospital is valued even without prior travel experience American Traveler Job ID P-747345.
