Data Analyst

The Data Analyst, Process Operations will assist in providing critical business insight, improve targeting, and help maximize return on investment by performing complex data analysis for field operations and call center. The Data Analyst, Process Operations is a support role that provides solutions to business problems including how to best manage and allocate people, processes, time, materials, assets and equipment.

Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Use data analytics to recommend solutions to business problems including how to best manage and allocate people, processes, time, materials, assets and equipment.
2. Work collaboratively to design, develop and/or manipulate reports for various business functions within operations, call center, training, new product and launch divisions to measure performance effectiveness.
3. Analyze and validate data and reporting.
4. Use Microsoft Excel extensively for data analysis, reporting, dashboards, pivot tables, formulas, lookups, and data modeling.
5. Use SQL to query, extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databased. Use Power Query to automate data preparation, transformation, and recurring reporting purposes
6. Strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, Power Query, and data analysis
7. Keen ability to identify trends, uncover issues, and recommend practical solutions
8. Research/evaluate new analytic methodologies, approaches and solutions
9. Other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field required
• 1+ years of experience in data analysis
• Strong proficiency in Excel skills
• Strong working knowledge of SQL , including the ability to write queries to retrieve, filter, join, aggregate, and analyze data.
• Experience with Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience applying mathematics and statistics to achieve business objectives
• Six-Sigma a plus
