Collision Estimator

The Estimator is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by creating estimates and coordinating repair needs, maintaining clear communication with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses vehicle damage and documents required repairs and parts replacements. This role contributes to achieving the repair facility's KPIs by aligning with the team to ensure a smooth repair experience for customers. Responsibilities Document and update every customer interaction with pertinent details in a timely and accurate manner. Provide customers with accurate, timely information and guide them through the repair process while delivering excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics. Adhere to WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery. Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members. Provide positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone. Understand required insurance programs and procedures. Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team as required. Support all team members as needed and participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings (if required). Attend training, information sessions, and workshops recommended by the Store Manager. Minimum Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent; knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines. Aware of where to look for answers; basic computer skills. Compliance for DRP’s; minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Must be willing to complete I-CAR training. Valid driver’s license.
