Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,440 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Falls Church, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare facility in the area. This role involves supporting neuro/spine and craniotomy cases, ranging from simple procedures to complex surgeries, in a fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a trauma and specialty neuro setting, with rotating shifts including days, nights, and weekends. Job Details Certifications and Education: BLS (American Heart Association) certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting, with strong neuro/ortho spine and craniotomy experience. Schedule: Rotating shifts, including days (0700-1530) and nights (2330-0700), with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend rotations include 3 twelve-hour shifts or on-call duties. Additional Information: Floating to other service lines within the tower OR may be required as needed. In the event of multiple traumas, neuro/craniotomy call team can be called in to support any trauma case. Must have strong neuro/ortho spine and craniotomy experience, and the ability to scrub in on complex cases. Epic electronic medical records access is needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro/ortho spine procedures, neurovascular, and neuro trauma cases preferred. RN scrub experience ideal.
