Job Title: HR Coordinator

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Type of Employment: Temporary

In Office/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid, 2 days in office

Salaries: $30/hr - $32/hr

Job Summary:

A growing organization is seeking an HR Coordinator to support a wide range of human resources functions across multiple business groups. This role will partner closely with HR leadership and play an integral part in employee lifecycle administration, leave management, employee relations, compliance initiatives, and employee engagement activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with HR systems, and capable of managing sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain employee records and process personnel changes including new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and terminations within the HR information system
• Perform regular audits to ensure workforce data is accurate, complete, and compliant with company standards
• Collaborate with payroll and HR operations teams to communicate employee changes and support timely processing activities
• Administer leave-related processes including FMLA, disability programs, ADA accommodations, and other absence requests while serving as a liaison between employees and third-party administrators
• Coordinate staffing coverage plans and assist with temporary workforce arrangements during employee leaves when needed
• Support employee return-to-work processes and ensure smooth workforce reintegration
• Assist with talent review preparation, succession planning data, and workforce reporting initiatives
• Help organize employee engagement programs, site events, and culture-focused activities
• Coordinate training schedules, participation tracking, vendor communications, and compliance-related learning programs
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding workplace policies, procedures, and HR programs
• Maintain confidential employee relations records and assist HR leadership with documentation and case management activities
• Oversee personnel file maintenance and support compliance requirements including employment verification documentation and onboarding records
• Track and maintain job descriptions, policy documents, and required training completion records
• Coordinate employee offboarding activities including separation documentation, equipment return processes, and exit data tracking

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-3 years of Human Resources experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role
• Experience working within an HRIS platform such as ADP, Workday, UKG, or comparable systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, leave administration practices, and employment law compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with managers and employees at all levels
• Experience supporting employee relations, training coordination, employee engagement, and HR compliance programs preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
