Job Summary:

The Seasonal Housekeeper oversees housekeeping and assists in the performance of their job duties such as cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the facility to company and customer standards. Responding to inquiries, resolving issues or concerns. The Housekeeper has the primary objective of driving the vision for company and customer standards. Housekeeper is accountable for shaping and delivering the business’s production to drive the overall performance of the department. The Housekeeper balances company and customer demands with delivery and execution. The Housekeeper oversees cost effectiveness, productivity, and the provision of customer demands that nurture continuous improvement.

Position:             

This is a Seasonal part-time, non-exempt position with variable hours as business fluctuates during the season.  Your employment can be extended to a regular, year round role at the mutual discretion of management and yourself.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize, and stock all room areas for guests’ arrival to company standards and expectations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• At least two years related experience required.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as e-mail communication, budgets, ledgers, and financial & inventory reports.  Ability to effectively present information and thoroughly answer questions in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in English.

Reasoning Ability and Computer Skills: 

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to efficiently use inventory, ordering & computer systems or applications and Microsoft Office programs.
