Fire Alarm Technician (NFPA 72 & Life Safety Systems)

Alarm & Suppression Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to perform servicing and maintenance of commercial fire alarm and life safety systems. In this role, you'll help ensure customer facilities remain safe, compliant, and operational through thorough inspections performed in accordance with NFPA 72, local regulations, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities Job Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Service and test fire alarm and life safety systems. 
• Perform scheduled or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems.  
• Inspect, adjust, clean and calibrate, ensuring systems are in excellent working order.  
• Complete within assigned hours in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving zero callbacks. 
• Work assignments are to be performed in a safe manner and within specified cost limits. 

Required Skills Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Minimum 2+ years experience as fire alarm technician. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 
• NICET certification preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills. 
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, follow directions and meet deadlines. 
• All applicants will undergo a comprehensive background check. 
• Must be flexible with working hours and be willing to be part of an on-call rotation. 
• Report to assigned job site location on time, as directed. 
• Maintain and properly store tools, materials, and equipment. 

Hourly Rate: $35.00/hour - $48.00/hour
