Job Summary:
The Longmont, Colorado, facility is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for a night shift position. This role involves providing comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients within a busy Labor & Delivery unit. Candidates must demonstrate a strong ability to care for both routine and emergent obstetric cases and should bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week

• Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
  • Active license to submit for the state of Colorado
  • Minimum of 1 year of labor and delivery experience within the last 3 years
  • Experience caring for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
  • Triage experience required
  • Competence in circulating and recovering C-Sections
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association (AHA), AWHONN intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certification or equivalent (C-EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC
  • Flexibility to participate in the holiday rotation and occasional overflow patient care
• Additional Information:
  • Hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment, or three shifts for shorter assignments
  • May be asked to work during holiday periods
