Field Service Specialist

Field Service SpecialistAs a Field Service Specialist, you will provide specialized repair and maintenance services for diagnostic imaging (radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, etc.) and biomedical equipment, expanding on FSS I duties. Daily, you will primarily repair and maintain intermediate imaging equipment (DR, basic CT/CT Sim, oncology, Vascular/Specials), leveraging training to reduce contract dependency. You will lead within Clinical Engineering, assisting FSS with imaging equipment repair, and manage service emergencies and communications with stakeholders. Your duties also include parts ordering, Account Manager coverage, identifying new service opportunities, analyzing cost histories for expense reduction, and supporting general biomedical equipment as needed. Employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsAssociates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, upon hire or Technical School graduate of technical program, upon hire or training validated through training certificates, upon hire or equivalent experience.Minimum of 2 years' experience servicing technical equipment, upon hireValid Driver's LicenseThis position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
