5429 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX Employment Type: Full-time Contract Type: US – Full Time Job Family: Legal Experience Level (for career site): Experienced Professional Summary The Claims Coordinator is responsible acting as a liaison between employees, supervisors, medical providers, and insurance adjusters to ensure compliance with laws, proper claim handling, and a safe return to work for injured employees. Key responsibilities include coordinating medical care, managing claim files and documentation for workers compensation and auto claims, providing guidance on policies, facilitating return-to-work programs, and ensuring accurate reporting and data analysis. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and knowledge of relevant workers' compensation laws and regulations. What You'll Do Oversee the lifecycle of workers' compensation and auto claims, ensuring timely filing and efficient resolution with insurance adjusters Implement, organize, and coordinate limited duty activity assignments; liaise with medical providers and adjusters to monitor treatment, understand employee work status, and align care with return-to-work goals Collaborate with management to develop and implement safe, gradual return to work plans, including assigning suitable transitional duties Maintain accurate and comprehensive claim files and records, ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant state and federal workers' compensation laws and reporting requirements Run, review, and build reports in ESIS/GRA and other Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) Provide support in the allocation of insurance premiums, legal, and claims invoices Other duties as assigned Job Duties Disclaimer The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
