Rental Coordinator (Construction Equipment | Inside Sales)

$24/hour + Monthly Bonus Potential

About the Role

Barnsco Texas, part of the QXO family, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Rental Coordinator to support our equipment rental and construction supply operations. This role is perfect for someone with inside sales, customer service, or equipment rental experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

You will be instrumental in coordinating rentals, supporting outside sales, managing customer relationships, and ensuring efficient service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process equipment rental orders via phone from customers and outside sales reps; ensure timely delivery and fulfillment
• Prepare customer quotes and pricing to support sales efforts
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts through proactive communication
• Support inside sales and customer service initiatives to drive revenue
• Coordinate with service team by assigning work orders to mechanics and tracking repair timelines
• Generate repair estimates, warranty claims, and parts research
• Receive, bill, and track parts to ensure accurate inventory management
• Perform cycle counts and monitor stock availability
• Partner with accounting to resolve AR/AP discrepancies
• Maintain open orders and system updates daily
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers and vendors
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services
• Conduct outbound calls (cold calling) to support business growth
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or rental coordination
• Experience in construction, equipment rental, or industrial sales preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Strong problem-solving abilities for both customers and internal teams
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• High School Diploma or GED required
