Clinical Psychiatrist (Part-Time)

188900 Job ID: 188900 The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Bellevue Hospital Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our Women’s Health Clinic through the IMPACT Program. This is a part-time position at .60 FTE, reporting to the Chief of Service. The clinician will work collaboratively with the Unit Chief as a member of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychology, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social work, nursing, creative arts therapy, and trainees. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Provision of primary psychiatric care to all assigned patients including evidence-based behavioral health services. Co-leadership of psycho-educational and psychotherapeutic groups for appropriate patients as assigned. Responsible for clinical evaluations, treatment decisions, and dispositions for assigned patients. Participate with the IMPACT team and other inter-disciplinary teams in Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Psychiatry for treatment planning. Liaison with patient families and external agencies and other medical specialties for assigned patients. Teaching and supervision of child psychiatry fellows, general psychiatry residents and other trainees working in IMPACT program. Adherence to all Federal, State, and City regulations.
