Job Opportunity – OB RN Labor & Delivery – Montana

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Lewistown, Montana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time travel assignment with primary focus on Labor & Delivery; flexibility required to float to Medical-Surgical unit when OB services are closed

Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive Labor & Delivery care including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, managing labor progression, and assisting with deliveries
• Perform clinical procedures including administering medications, cervical exams within scope, interpreting fetal monitoring strips, and preparing patients for operative deliveries
• Respond to obstetric emergencies with strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
• Cross-trained opportunity to support Medical-Surgical floor, enhancing clinical versatility
• Play a critical role in promoting positive birth experiences and ensuring optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns
• Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families during significant life moments

Requirements:

• Current Montana RN license required
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• STABLE Program certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability and willingness to float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed
