Global Launch Excellence Lead - SMA

Director-level role overseeing global commercial launch strategy for Biogen's spinal muscular atrophy portfolio. Leads cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated launch plans while fostering collaboration across regional and functional boundaries.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing comprehensive global launch plans for SMA portfolio
- Drive strategic and operational rigor for integrated launch timelines, budgets, and risk management
- Serve as integrator between IDU and Thecaflex programs to facilitate decision-making and remove barriers
- Build and maintain tools to track launch progress and enhance team collaboration and visibility
- Define and execute global engagement strategy with healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field
- 10+ years pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience; 3+ years in launch readiness
- Strong commercial experience at regional or global level
- Proficiency with AI-enabled tools, advanced analytics, and digital innovations
- Experience in rare diseases or neuromuscular conditions
- Proven ability to lead in matrix organizations
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 15% annually
Compensation: $200,000-$275,000 base
