Description Lead the Team. Improve the Process. Drive Results. TSAOG Orthopaedics & Spine is looking for a Billing Manager who can develop people, drive performance, and help our billing operation continually improve. This role requires a strong leader who can balance team development, operational goals, and technical billing expertise. What You'll Do Lead, train, coach, and support a team of billing professionals Drive department performance and accountability Monitor denials, identify root causes, and implement solutions Foster an engaged and high-performing team culture Oversee billing, collections, appeals, and reimbursement activities Analyze data, track metrics, and improve processes Champion new technology and innovative ways of working Partner with leadership to achieve department goals and operational excellence What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, reimbursement, and modifier rules Proven ability to train, develop, and support employees Ability to maintain department goals and deliver results A leader who creates accountability while keeping employees engaged Comfortable adopting new technology and helping others do the same Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills Orthopaedic billing experience preferred Athena experience is a plus The Right Fit You enjoy helping people grow, solving complex billing issues, and finding better ways to get things done. You're equally comfortable coaching a team, analyzing performance metrics, and rolling up your sleeves to tackle challenging reimbursement and coding issues.
