Host/Hostess Position

We are looking to add a Host/Hostess to our team. The Host is responsible for creating a warm, professional, and memorable first impression for all guests. This role manages reservations, coordinates seating arrangements, and maintains smooth communication between guests and the service team to ensure an exceptional dining experience. The Host embodies the restaurant's commitment to luxury hospitality, personalized service, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Taking reservations with the restaurant reservation system
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests
• Managing inventory of tables available
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
• Communicating with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables
• Communicating with supervisor any complaints or compliments
• Adhering to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook
• Always wearing appropriate uniform provided by company policy

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
• Previous experience a plus
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages
