Electrician Specialist

Responsibilities: Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs/maintains all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process, including blenders, crystallizers, dryers, extruders, formers, trim presses, conveyors, and grinders Troubleshoots AC and DC drives and motors; PC and PLC controlled systems; heaters, thermocouples, and heat controllers; safety circuits Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades Uses Maintenance Connection to record and close work orders accurately and in a timely manner Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy Follows all Company-established rules and policies Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations Analytical, problem-solving, project management, strong technical/functional skills, customer service, interpersonal skills, oral communication, written communications, teamwork, judgment, organized, mechanical aptitude, electrical aptitude, detail-oriented Qualifications: Plastics experience a plue-extrusion, thermoforming, and injection molding HS Diploma or equivalency 2-year Electro-Mechanical technical degree preferred 3-5 years related experience Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprint reading (mechanical/electrical), and have an understanding of welding and fabrication Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities Must have knowledge of PLC and PC controls Prefer experience using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Omron systems Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed You should be proficient in: Equipment Troubleshooting Electrical Troubleshooting Skills Pneumatics Experience Hydraulics Experience Vehicle Electronics & Computer Controls Electrical / Electronic Systems Industrial Electrical Experience Blueprint Reading Machines & technologies you'll use: Conveyor Systems #J-18808-Ljbffr FactoryFix
