Quick Facts Location: Childrens Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404 Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 02/28/2027 & 04/30/2027 (two coverage periods) Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Hours/Week: Full-time, 35 hours/week Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: Ohio Medical License, DEA, and appropriate certifications Experience: Pediatric Anesthesiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $390.00 Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide anesthesia services for pediatric patients across a wide age range from neonatal to adult in hospital-based operating rooms Supervise CRNAs as part of a care team model, balancing independent and supervised practice Collaborate with a collegial team of surgeons, nurses, and staff to ensure safe, effective anesthesia care Prepare anesthesia carts and ensure readiness for daily cases Cover a high volume of surgical cases (~50-60 per day), aiding in efficient OR throughput Adhere to hospital protocols and safety procedures for anesthesia care Support FMLA coverage needs as required during specified periods What You Need Ohio Medical License and DEA registration Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Pediatric anesthesia experience preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to supervise CRNAs when designated About the Assignment Join a top-tier, hospital-based anesthesiology team at Dayton Children’s, an ACS Level 1 Trauma Center with 14 operating rooms and a large, diverse patient demographic.
