Make a difference in the lives of young learners by supporting their communication growth in an elementary school setting as a contract Speech Language Pathologist. Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere where your clinical expertise is valued and both seasoned clinicians (CCC-SLP) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children strongly preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans to meet students’ IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage in professional development and take advantage of access to a supportive clinical mentorship team
