Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current SLP licensure for North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
• Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is highly valued
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and providing evidence-based interventions
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children
• Develop and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary educational teams
• Offer direct therapy services both one-on-one and in group settings
• Maintain detailed progress notes and reports to track student development
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
