Assembler II

About the Role Reporting to the Factory Supervisor, the Assembler III Associate is responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semi‑automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. The position is part of Production Operations and located in Hemet, CA. Responsibilities Set up and operate automatic or semi‑automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follow engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written or verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. Install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair, and dismantle machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings. Perform set‑up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems to make sub‑assemblies, assemblies, or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. Operate powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material. Keep track of inventory in the work area and notify the supervisor when material is needed. Identify and replace or report defective sub‑assemblies. Conduct simple go‑no‑go testing. Observe and follow all safety regulations and company policies, maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area, and support improvement activities (DBS). Perform duties as assigned to ensure the success of projects, individuals, and the company. Skills & Competencies Knowledge of basic assembly processes. Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions, specifications, blueprints, or sketches. Self‑motivated, self‑starter, sense of urgency, personable, upbeat, conscientious, transparent, and detailed. Quality conscious with the ability to meet productivity goals. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Detail‑oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy on all work activities. Ability to work in a positive manner with other associates within cell areas and develop strong working relationships across teams and subject areas. Can adapt and operate within a high‑performance culture. Minimum Requirements High School or equivalent preferred; 2+ years mechanical/electromechanical assembly experience. Work Environment & Physical Demands The work environment consists of an indoor industrial setting with good ventilation, adequate lighting, and low to moderate noise levels.
