ICU Registered Nurse

A hospital in Las Cruces, New Mexico is seeking a mid-level Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit. This is a fully on-site, in-person position with no remote work option. Partial relocation assistance is available for candidates moving to the area. The ICU Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care within an intensive care setting, delivering close monitoring and hands‑on clinical intervention for critically ill patients. The role demands sharp assessment skills and the ability to respond quickly in high-acuity situations. Candidates who are relocating should be prepared to start within 30 to 45 days of acceptance. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit Perform continuous monitoring and clinical assessment of patient status Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition with timely clinical action Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment plans Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation throughout each shift Uphold patient safety standards and follow established ICU protocols Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Mexico required Associate's degree in Nursing required Current Basic Life Support certification required ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire If relocating, must be available to start within 30 to 45 days of acceptance Minimum of one year of ICU experience preferred Minimum of one year of experience in any nursing department preferred Benefits Partial relocation assistance available for qualifying candidates #J-18808-Ljbffr
